Authors are allowed to include up to three tables and three figures in manuscripts. These may not be combined, i.e., six tables and no figures. Additional tables and figures will be charged at the rate of $50 each. Tables which require landscaped formatting and/or tables larger than 10 columns across the page by 20 rows down the page will be charged at the rate of $75 each. Tables not created using your word processor’s table maker will be charged at least $150 each, due to the very detailed, lengthy typesetting needed to re-create your table. Failure to italicize appropriately in the manuscript text, tables, and figures (i.e., F, p, SD, M, t) will result in a charge of $5 per unitalicized character. Additional typesetting fees will also be charged for substantial alterations of proofs not due to typesetting errors or editor queries at the rate of $50 per change. Minimal changes for small author errors are, of course, permitted at no charge. Any special charges must be paid prior to publication. An invoice will be emailed with proofs to authors for such charges. Payments may be made using most major credit cards or personal, institutional, or cashier’s checks payable in U.S. funds and drawn on a U.S. Bank ONLY.
